This large home can accommodate your
family as well as another family of friends or relatives.
It’s also perfect to bring the grandparents along!
Our home offers quiet beaches and
spectacular sunsets (viewed from our rooftop deck).
It is a second row house, but one of the lots across the street is
undeveloped, so we have plenty of ocean views.
There are two levels to the house which
is why it is perfect for large or multiple families. (It sleeps 14
comfortably!) The upper level
has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and
eating area and a living area. The screened porch offers additional outdoor dining or a
place to enjoy the great ocean views from one of several rocking chairs.
The downstairs has 2 large bedrooms, a full bath and another full
kitchen, living area and screened porch.
There are 3 TV's with cable and movie channels, VCR, washer and
dryer, dishwasher, outdoor grill, A/c, ceiling fans, highchair, crib,
linens, towels, bikes, toys, games, books, beach chairs and toys.
New in 2002: New Patio furniture and carpet;
New Kitchen appliances -- dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove and hood; New upholstery for dining chairs;
New bathroom hardware... The place looks great!
The island market, only a few minute
walk away, offers beach rentals, ice cream, groceries, deli, video game
parlor, surf shop and gift shops. The
pier across the street extends into the Atlantic and is known for the
fishing and the views!
If you want to explore further, you can
walk to the uninhabited Bird Island or take the island's historic one-lane
swing bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway where numerous restaurants,
golf courses and boat rentals reside.
There are over 100 golf courses within a short drive and only a
25-minute drive to the famous tourist attractions at Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina. Here you'll find a world-renowned aquarium (a must for the
kids!), shopping, restaurants, water parks and live music and
entertainment venues.
